Coach's Corner

Conditioning is an important part of soccer. We'd rather not spend practice time on conditioning since we need the time to work on other soccer skills. We'd like to have each of the girls working on conditioning on their own. This could include running, jogging, rollerblading, biking, jumping rope, jumping jacks, etc to build cardiovascular fitness and endurance. Ideally they should run 1-2 miles, 3-4 times a week. If this sounds like a lot, start out slowly and work up to it.  In addition, 20 situps and 20 pushups each day will help strengthen core muscles. Thanks for your assistance in helping the team!
